Leaky Distributor Shaft Seal

1987 Nissan Stanza

An intermittent secondary ignition miss may be caused by a leaking distributor shaft seal on 1987 Nissan Stanza models. The oil gets into the L.E.D. distributor mechanism causing the photo diode to send an incorrect signal to the ECU. Replace the offending distributor with the appropriate BWC number.

PARTS INFORMATION:

• 185-0432 fits from 1/86 - 4/86 with Hitachi distributor #22100-D3500.
• 185-0433 fits from 4I86 - 4/87 with Mitsubishi distributor #22100-D3510, #22100-D3511, or #22100-D3512.
• 185-0434 fits from 4/87 -89 with Hitachi distributor #22100-D3501 or #22100-D3502.
