1993 RX7 - Run Down Battery
If your 1993 RX7's get up and go has got up and went, don't be too quick to do major surgery on the alternator (Bosch p/n AL4213X) or battery. Instead, spend a little quality time examining the glove box light and you might find that it is staying on when no one is around, causing the battery to run down. To cure this condition, Mazda has issued a revised glove box lamp cover (p/n FD01 64 170A) which only requires the removal and installation of two screws and will ensure that the glove box light only goes on when the glove box is open.
