Domestic Drums with Outboard Hubs

When installing outboard mounted hubs onto new drums, extreme care must be taken as not to damage the new drums. In some cases the old drum can be used to support the hub and new drum while the studs are being pressed in. If this is not possible a support needs to be placed where it will support the hub and drum so that the drum will not be bent or broken while the studs are being pressed in.
