Counter Sales

Our counter sales people fill telephone orders placed by our wholesale customers and provide outstanding service to our walk-in retail customers. Our sales people also go out and visit our customers regularly to make sure that we are meeting their needs.

The Olympus sales counter is a true team environment and is very busy. All of our counter sales people work together to make sure that the phones are answered quickly and our customers’ orders are filled promptly and professionally.

A counter sales position can lead to promotion to Third Key, Assistant Manager and Store Manager Positions.

To be eligible for a sales position with Olympus,
you must:

• Enjoy serving other people.
• Be able to lift 25 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• It is very helpful if you already have automotive and/or sales experience. However, this is not a job requirement.

Pay:

• Our counter sales positions pay a base salary plus commission. Most of your pay comes from commission. To help get you started, you may begin at a guaranteed wage for up to 90 days.
• Counter sales people with at least one year’s experience are earning between $30,000 and $70,000 per year with Olympus.
• Your pay rate is reviewed each year on your hire date anniversary. In addition, you will earn an increase in your base salary when you complete the Olympus Sales Certification Program.

Hours:

• We are open for business Monday-Friday 8-6 and on Saturdays 8-3. Saturday is a normal work day for us. We are not open on Sundays.
• You are assigned a start time each day and you can expect to be scheduled for at least 8 hours on scheduled weekdays and 7 hours on scheduled Saturdays. Additional hours may be required to meet our customers’ needs.
